How do I book a session?

Where is the studio?

There is plenty of on street parking directly outside the mill. It is pay and display. Pay via the on street machines or via the ‘MiPermit’ APP.
When you arrive please press ‘23’ on the intercom followed by the bell button. I will buzz you into the reception area and come down to meet you.

How far in advance should I book?
Portrait sessions are best booked 2–4 weeks ahead. For newborn sessions, I recommend reserving around your due date to ensure availability — we can adjust the date if your baby arrives early or late.

What is your pricing?
Pricing varies depending on the type of shoot, duration, and location. Please contact me via my “Work with me” page and I will send over my price guide.

Do you require a deposit?
Yes — a non-refundable deposit of £50 confirms your booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the session.

How can I pay?
I offer flexible payment options to make things easy for you.
You can pay by cash, bank transfer, or contactless payment - I accept both credit and debit cards.
Gift vouchers can also be purchased using any of these payment methods, giving you complete flexibility.

How long will the session last?
Portrait sessions typically last 1–2 hours. Events and weddings depend on your chosen package.

What should I wear for the shoot?
Choose outfits that reflect your personal style and make you feel confident. I’m happy to share a style guide for inspiration. Neutral tones usually photograph beautifully, while avoiding busy patterns helps keep the focus on you.
I have a newborn wardrobe that can be accessed for your baby.

Do you travel for shoots?
Absolutely! Travel fees may apply for locations outside my main service area of Derbyshire.

How long does it take to get my photos?
Galleries are usually delivered within 3 weeks after the shoot. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.

Will I get the raw/unedited files?
No — I only provide fully edited images to ensure the best quality and style.

How will I receive my images?
You’ll get a private online gallery for viewing, downloading, and sharing. Prints and albums are available upon request.

What happens if it rains or I need to reschedule?
We can reschedule at no extra cost if the weather is bad or if you notify me within 7 days.
